Joel is from Scarborough, Ontario. He spent his formative years in South Texas learning piano and voice under great professors such as: Ibola Kovacs, Ann Stone, Dr. John Raimo, and moved to Houston to study under Dr. Jerico Vasquez and Betty Ruth Tomfohrde. Well versed in classical, gospel, blues, and contemporary genres of music, he has won numerous competitions in the states and abroad. Performed in many places around the world, he’s been part of bands, worked as an RJ in Houston, and worked as a music director for various churches.  He is a piano and voice teacher that has taught in several countries with over 17 years of experience. Now he is back in Canada pursuing a B. Ed and beyond.
